Pastor Jack has been attending our church since he was four years old!
In 2021, after 26 years as Pastor, his father Jay Kirkpatrick retired and the church called Jack to be the Pastor. Following his leadership, the church voted to change our name to Renewal Baptist Church. As we look to the future, we are asking God to renew His work in Plano, and let us see revival in His church.
Pastor Jack is passionate about preaching the Bible, and strives to bring scriptural messages that are challenging, yet clear to understand.
Whether we are studying a topic or just one passage, the goal is to approach every verse in an expositional manner... always preaching the Bible in context. The main mode of preaching at Renewal Baptist is going verse by verse through a book of the Bible.
We preach the word, not preferences or opinions.
If the Bible is clear, we will preach what it says without apology, and if the Bible is silent, we will be honest about that, and "Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." Romans 14:5
Jack has worked for the United States Postal Service since 2007, and continues to work as a mail carrier five days a week. When not working for USPS or the church, he loves hanging out with his family and enjoys food, sports, Bible study, exercise, being outdoors, and having fun!
Pastor Jack is joined in ministry by his wife Melissa and daughter Serissa.
